| Shutttle/Metro, Transportation, and Parking |
| The Festival is held at Oronoco Bay Park in Alexandria, Virginia.
The park is located on the Old Town Alexandria waterfront at the north end of Union Street. Street parking is extremely limited. There will be limited parking available at the George Washington Masonic Temple located near the King Street Metro Station. We encourage everyone to use Metro.
Take Metrobus or Metrorail to the Alexandria Waterfront Festival. FREE Festival shuttle service to/from King Street Metro station (Blue or Yellow lines) during Festival hours - shuttles run every 20 minutes.
On weekends and holidays, park FREE at Metro-operated lots. To plan your trip, visit
The RideGuide at www.metroopensdoors.com or call 202-637-7000 (TTY 202-638-3780).
Ride your bike to the Waterfront Festival and let the Washington Area Bicycle Association and Jefferson-Houston Elementary School put it in the FREE bike valet parking area at Gate 2 located on N. Fairfax and Pendleton Streets. Just show up at the Valet Station, hand over your bike to a smiling volunteer attendant and enjoy the event. Our attendants will be at the Festival each day from opening until 7 pm to keep an eye on your bike until you return. Bike Valet parking is the best way to remove the hassle of traffic and parking from your day! This free service is provided by the City of Alexandria. Learn more at www.alexandriava.gov/localmotion.
